Lorraine’s Low-Calorie Sticky Chicken

Sticky chicken

Ingredients 

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 6 mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Half tsp paprika
  • Half tsp cumin
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp worchester sauce

100ml water

Method

  1. Add the chicken, mushrooms and peppers as well as all spices to a pan and cook until golden. Then remove the chicken from the pan and leave aside.
  2. Add all wet ingredients to the pan and bring to the boil. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  3. Add back the chicken and stir until heated through and golden.
  4. Serve with rice adding additional calories as needed.
